President Obama sent his congratulations to Michael Sam, the first openly gay player drafted by an NFL team saying this is “an important step forward."...This doesn't surprise us because he is as open about his support of them as they are in coming out now. It would be nice if we could get some talk and positive moves toward getting $2.5 million unemployed Americans their benefits back after waiting 4.5 months without it...
