Legendary Hollywood actress, Cicely Tyson will receive an Honorary degree at the American Film Institute. For many years, Tyson has paid her dues on the big screen, playing various characters in American films. The great actress has been known in her starring roles in not just in black films, but also white movies. Tyson can been seen in many movies, but here are a few of them, if you recall: "Fried Green Tomatoes", "A Woman Called Moses:, "Idlewood", "The Rosa Parks Story", "Because of Winnie Dixie", "Alex Cross", "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" and many others.
