Jet magazine has been around since 1951 which was a pillar in the black community since we all can remember. Unfortunately, it is joining the ranks of other dying publications. This goes along with the bookstores that are closing all over the U.S. like Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million and Borders Books. This is a sad time when the electronic age and the internet has truly taken over how many people would rather receive their news.
