Velma Lee Carr Moore, known to everyone as “Madea,”transitioned peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Beauvais Manor Assistant Living, St.Louis, Mo. She was born on December 14, 1916 in Cottonplant, Arkansas to Jack and Annie Mae Thomas.
