We could not pass this article up, because so many times, we've seen preachers teaching their followers how to idolize their pastors. If we want to make it to heaven, we are going to have to turn our heads and close our ears when we hear such deception and false doctrine. God said to honor those in leadership, but He never said to do so to an extent as though they are above Jesus Christ. Now, thanks to PimpPreacher.com, we watched this video and in our opinion, we have to agree with the journalists of The Church Folk Revolution, God is not pleased. Furthermore, it's this kind of teaching that have allegedly caused the black church to be corrupt and not in full obedience to Jesus Christ. Don't forget in Proverbs 6:17, God said He hates a proud look and it seems like Floyd is carrying such a spirit. It's a spirit of pride when a doctrine is taught to worship a pastor as though he's greater than his followers. God is the only greater One. And when she allegedly said you don't give your tithes to the hungry...whoa!!! There are plenty of scriptures that talk about caring for the poor and God said He would bless us. There is no scripture that says God does not include your tithes when you give to the poor. Please don't forget Jim Jones and David Koresh and what happened to all of those people who followed them. They placed their leaders above God and were deceived to choose death rather than life.
In Matthew 7:15, the scripture says, 'beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.'
