Does Rapper Ja Rule Have the Right to Judge Pastor Mason Betha's Explicit Lyrics While Allegedly Belonging to Carl Lentz (Hillsong) Church?

To be real with you, we don't think Rapper JaRule has any right to judge Pastor Mason Betha.  He allegedly stated in our source's article that his rap lyrics are confusing as a pastor.  Really? Isn't it just as confusing for him to belong to Pastor Carl Lentz church since Lentz refuses to preach against homosexuality?

According to ChristianPost.com, Ja Rule said he eventually sought guidance from Lentz about his new commitment, and how he was not going to suddenly start producing Gospel records. "He told me, 'Ja, take baby steps, walk in your path," said the rapper.  Really?  We thought when you get saved, you're supposed to give it all up?  And we think he knows that, read what he says about Pastor Mason Betha:

"I'm confused. He's confusing me," said Ja Rule. "I don't know how to take it because I'm like, 'Is that allowed?' I don't know."

"I'm not sitting here saying I'm … the great godly man. I'm not the authority to really speak on these situations," he continued, admitting that what he has been witnessing from the rapper-pastor doesn't "feel right." Ja Rule repeated that he found it confusing, and that he "wouldn't play with the Lord like that."

According to CP, the Queens, New York, rapper went on to admit that although he made a decision to get saved, he was not yet "ready to go all the way" and was still going to make his music in a way that feels good to him.  Now that confuses us and furthermore, belonging to a church where a pastor allegedly refuses to preach against homosexuality, because Lentz says Jesus never mentioned He was against it, which is a lie from the pit of hell.

Now, we may not approve of Pastor Mason 'MA$E's lyrics, but it's not fair for Ja Rule to judge him if he's not willing to go although the way for Christ in his music, himself.

Now, read this following scriptures against homosexuality.  Tell us, why would Ja Rule follow anyone like Carl Lentz?  Isn't that hypocritical?

Biblical Scriptures against Homosexuality
  •  1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

  • Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."
  • Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
  • Romans 1:26-27 - "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
